1. Who is responsible

OneSquad GbR: Alina Rauch und Julia Rosner
Gipsstraße 16c, 10119 Berlin, Germany
Email: hello@onesquad.club

We are the controller for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect, and why

When you apply for a founding spot. We collect your first name, email address, the part of Berlin you’d want to train in, how often you train, your main training goal, and anything you choose to write in the optional fields, including the name of anyone who referred you.

We use it to assess your application, to match you to a suitable squad, and to contact you about your application and the launch of OneSquad. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give with the checkbox on the form, and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

When you visit the site. Our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type, and the page you came from, in server logs, in order to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-friendly, sets no cookies and does not track individuals across sites. No personal data is stored for this purpose and no consent banner is required.

3. Who receives your data

We use the following processors, each under a data processing agreement:

Lovable: hosting of the website and the function that receives your application.
Airtable, Inc., United States: storage of applications and our follow-up notes.

Transfer outside the EU. Airtable stores data in the United States. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR, which form part of Airtable’s Data Processing Addendum. US authorities may have access rights that do not correspond to EU standards, and you may not have the same remedies as in the EU.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your application for as long as we are in contact with you about a place, and in any case no longer than 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you become a member, in which case it is kept under the membership relationship, or you ask us to delete it sooner.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your data (Art. 15), to correct it (Art. 16), to have it deleted (Art. 17), to restrict processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, just email us, without affecting the lawfulness of what we did before.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.

6. Is providing your data required?

No. Applying is voluntary. But we can’t process an application without at least a name and an email address, so those fields are required if you want to apply.

7. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. A person reads every application.

8. Changes

Last updated 1 September 2026. We’ll update this page if what we do with your data changes.
